At StarArt Inc, we take our impact on the local and global environment seriously.
All of our equipment and processes are as environmentally responsible as possible.
We strive to keep our environmental footprint as small and light as we possibly can.
With us it starts in the pre-press department, which is totally chemical free: no wastewater, no chemicals to dispose of or recycle, no VOCs.
We use water-based coatings and vegetable-based inks exclusively. And we don't use alcohol in our dampening solution.
Nearly all the paper we print on has recycled content, and we recycle all our waste trimmings

StarArt, Inc. has its roots in over fifty five years of being in business.
It started with a twelve year old boy selling cokes and bait to fishermen on the bridge in Ocean City, MD and worked its way through buying promotional products and advertising for many companies.
Some of these companies were less than successful and some were very successful.
They ranged from an individual contracting company to a very successful communications company, each with one thing in common.
They dealt as a small business with the public promoting goods and services for sale.
This kind of hands on experience is hard to come by in school. It comes only through living.
